2016-05-10

The House Concert, which has brought down the barrier between the stage and the audience, is marking its 14th year. Recorded as Korea’s first living room concert, The House Concert is led by pianist and composer Park Chang-soo. He started these small concerts at his home in Yeonhui-dong, Seoul back in 2002. Park placed a piano in his living room and arranged cushions around it. The concerts presented opportunities for the musicians and audiences to truly interact. What made The House Concert more meaningful was that it provided a venue for young, aspiring musicians to perform in public. Park Chang-soo doesn’t compromise or leave anything to chance when it comes to music. He fills The House Concert only with the best musicians and best programs.
The House Concert has gained the trust of musicians with its amazing records. Now world-famous musicians contact The House Concert first for a chance to play. The House Concert invites not only classical musicians, but artists from other disciplines. The House Concert series has become a precious cultural experience for all music lovers.
