The Korean Traditional Wine School opens a traditional wine class every Tuesday from 10AM to 1PM. Once people come to learn about traditional alcoholic beverages, they fall deeply in love with this Korean tradition. And the person responsible for introducing people to the allures of Korean traditional wines is Park Rock-dam, the head of the Korean Traditional Wine School. For the past three decades he has been studying Korea’s traditional wines and succeeded in restoring roughly 1,000 recipes for traditional drinks and recreating them. He is also spearheading the effort to preserve and publicize the production methods of traditional alcoholic beverages. But that's not the end of his endeavor. These days he is trying to revive the tradition of wine-drinking inspiring artworks in the same way ancient Koreans used to dance and paint, write poems, and play music instruments as they enjoyed wine.
