Năm 2007, 2 người bạn cùng trường trung học, Park Sung-do và Suh Young-ho thành lập nhóm song ca mang tên "The Boxer". 2 năm sau, nhóm nhạc đổi tên thành One Punch. Ngay từ khi phát hành album đầu tay mang tựa đề "An Afternoon Where The Sun Rises", cặp đôi đã thu hút được một lượng fan hâm mộ đáng kể nhờ những âm hưởng dân dã pha trộn phong cách nhạc độc lập.
