Gov't Calls for Town Meetings to Capture Ferry Owner

The Ministry of Safety and Public Administration has advised the people to hold neighborhood meetings as part of efforts to swiftly capture Yoo Byung-eon, who is known to be the owner of the sunken Sewol ferry.

The ministry on Wednesday held a video conference between its local chiefs and vice chiefs of local governments of cities, counties and districts.

In the meeting, the ministry asked the regions to hold emergency neighborhood meetings Friday afternoon and ensure the local residents familiarize themselves with Yoo’s appearance.
