Trump: Missile Launch Disrespected China

U.S. President Donald Trump says North Korea disrespected China and its president by testing a missile.

On Friday, Trump Tweeted: "North Korea disrespected the wishes of China & its highly respected President when it launched, though unsuccessfully, a missile today. Bad!"

Trump, however, didn't answer questions by reporters on the missile launch on Air Force One during his trip back to the White House from Atlanta.

North Korea fired a ballistic missile in the northeast direction from near the Pukchang region in South Pyongan Province at around 5:30 Saturday morning, but the missile exploded minutes after the launch. The debris fell into the East Sea.

The North fired three missiles this month, but all three attempts failed.
