China will soon announce the resumption of the six-party talks on ending North Korea's nuclear program.

South Korea’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Moon Tae-young said that Seoul is making preparations for the six-way nuclear talks, which are expected to reopen on December eighth.

But he declined to confirm when the U.S. will hold bilateral talks with the North prior to the six-way talks.
