Yemen: Al-Qaeda to Blame for Bombing

The Yemeni government is blaming Al-Qaeda for the Sunday bombing that resulted in the death of four South Korean tourists.

According to the Associated Press, the Yemeni government says the incident was a suicide bombing orchestrated by an Al-Qaeda terrorist cell.

Yemeni authorities have secured evidence helping to confirm the identity of the bomber and the terrorist organization's role in the bombing.

Yemeni police have concluded that an 18-year-old suicide bomber made his way into the group of South Korean tourists and detonated the bomb. They called it a typical Al-Qaeda terrorist tactic.

The chief of police in charge of the Shibam tourist area in Yemen, where the bombing took place, said that a video message from the teenage bomber has been secured and that his identity will be disclosed at a later time.
