S. Korea Ranks 116th in Social/Political Vulnerability

A new report finds that South Korea ranks 116th in the world in terms of being vulnerable to social and political unrest.

The report released by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), a research arm of the British business magazine "The Economist,” ranked 165 nations on how vulnerable they are to social and political instability. The scores are measured by the political instability index.

On a scale of zero to ten, with zero meaning a country is invulnerable, South Korea's political instability index stood at five-point-one. North Korea posted a seven-point-seven, the 13th worst score on the list.

Zimbabwe was found to be the most vulnerable with a score of eight-point-eight.
