Clinton Says NK Aid Will Be 'Difficult' if Rocket Launched

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says it will be difficult for North Korea to receive food and energy aid if it carries out a planned rocket launch set for between April fourth and eighth.

Clinton made the remark on a television program Saturday, saying giving aid will be difficult despite Pyongyang’s calls for support.

The secretary said she hopes North Korea will compose itself and cooperate with the U.S., emphasizing that a rocket launch would be a violation of U.N. Security Council Resolution 17-18.
