US, China to Hold Summit in London

U.S. President Barack Obama will hold a one-on-one meeting with Chinese President Hu Jintao in London early next month on the sidelines of the Group of 20 summit.

North Korea’s plan to launch what is believed to be a missile will top the agenda for the U.S.-Chinese summit.

A deputy national security adviser to Obama said he hopes the U.S.-Chinese summit will serve as an opportunity for countries to share concerns about the North's missile launch, which he called a violation of a U.N. Security Council resolution.

The White House declined to elaborate on other topics that could be discussed at the summit, like the need for a new key currency to replace the U.S. dollar.
