U.S. special envoy on North Korea Stephen Bosworth is planning to take a tour of countries participating in the six-way nuclear talks in the near future.

Washington-based Radio Free Asia quoted a senior U.S. State Department official as saying that Bosworth will head to the member countries when the U.S. government believes the timing is appropriate.

He added that Washington expects the visit will come soon.

But he did not reveal whether North Korea would be on Bosworth's itinerary for the future visit.
