KCC Chief Meets with U.S. FCC Chairman

Korea Communications Commission (KCC) Chairman Choi See-joong has met with acting chairman of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Michael Copps.

During their talks in Washington Tuesday, Choi and Copps discussed ways for the two countries to cooperate on issues including digital transition. They also talked about ways to bring continuous growth to the advertising market.

Copps said the U.S. is currently working to improve its high-speed Internet industry by studying precedents set by other countries including South Korea.
