India Delegation Pay Respects to Roh

A delegation from the Indian government has visited the memorial altar set up in the South Korean Embassy in New Delhi, to pay respects to late former President Roh Moo-hyun.

The delegation headed by India’s vice foreign minister conveyed condolences to the Korean government and people on behalf of the Indian government.

The delegation also appreciated Roh’s efforts while in office to turn bilateral ties into a permanent partnership that jointly seeks peace and progress.

The memorial in the South Korean embassy in India has been visited by an endless number of people paying their last respects to the former president, including diplomats of Malaysia and Japan as well as Korean residents and workers at South Korean companies in India.
