The husband of one of two U.S. journalists in North Korea says both women are being held in a medical facility, not a hotel, as reported by an American professor.

After returning from a trip to the North, an ethnic Korean professor at Georgia State University said the two American journalists are being held in a hotel in the communist country.

But quoting Laura Ling’s husband, Voice of America says Ling and Euna Lee are being held captive at a medical facility.

Ling and Lee of San Francisco-based Current TV were arrested near the North’s border with China in March for entering the country illegally and unspecified "hostile acts.” They were sentenced to 12 years in a North Korean labor camp.
