Police in Virginia are probing the shooting death of a 50-something ethnic Korean doctor of Oriental medicine.

The woman was found dead around 4:05 p.m. Friday at her clinic in Annandale, where many Korean businesses are located.

Fairfax County police say that when they found her, she had been tied and stabbed several times in her upper torso and lying on the clinic's bathroom floor.

Police are examining surveillance camera footage collected from neighboring areas.

The Korean consulate general in Washington, D.C., has also asked for a swift investigation and is trying to identify the victim.
