Ex-President Clinton in Pyongyang

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton arrived in North Korea on Tuesday to negotiate the release of two American journalists imprisoned by the North.

Footage released by the Associated Press on Tuesday show Clinton arriving at Sunan Airport in Pyongyang accompanied by three male aides and a female translator.

Clinton was greeted by the North's vice parliamentary speaker Yang Hyong-sop and top nuclear envoy Kim Kye-kwan.

The former president left the airport for Pyongyang after receiving a warm reception.

North Korean media covered Clinton's visit as headline news.
