Reports Submitted on Implementation of NK Sanctions

A number of countries have presented reports on their implementation of sanctions against North Korea in accordance with U.N. Security Council Resolution 1874.

After briefing the Security Council on implementations of sanctions against Pyongyang, the chief of the U.N. sanctions committee told reporters on Thursday that many countries have submitted reports in accordance with the resolution.

The committee chief expressed satisfaction with cooperation among governments of countries, adding that related reports are still being submitted.

South Korea submitted a report late last month, along with the U.S., China, Russia, France, Japan and Italy.
