U.S. special envoy on North Korea Stephen Bosworth is considering a three-nation visit to South Korea, China and Japan early next month.

U.S.-based Radio Free Asia (RFA) made the announcement, citing an official from the U.S. State Department.

The report said that during his visit, Bosworth intends to fine-tune North Korean policy with the nations of the six-party nuclear talks following former U.S. President Bill Clinton’s recent visit to Pyongyang.

The report also cited U.S. experts on North Korean issues as saying that Bosworth may discuss with the countries the possibility of a U.S.-North Korea meeting.
