Two South Korean students were killed and one injured in a parasailing accident in the Philippines.

A Foreign Ministry official said Thursday that two men died and one woman was injured when they crashed near the island of Boracay last Saturday. The victims in their 20s were reportedly hit by gusts of strong winds while parasailing .

The official quoted local police as saying that they are investigating whether the driver of the boat had cut the rope to prevent the boat from being overturned by strong winds.
