Raytheon, a major U.S. defense contractor, says it has agreed to sell 250 air-to-surface missiles to South Korea and Taiwan.

Raytheon says the contract, which is for the AGM-65D and AGM-65G2 missiles, is worth some 77-point-four million U.S. dollars.

The two missile models operate by infrared guidance.

The company has manufactured over 69-thousand AGM-65s to date that are held by 33 countries.
