Ethnic Koreans in the United States will begin a campaign to encourage U.S. senators and congressmen to ratify the Korea-U.S. free trade agreement.

Ethnic Korean organizations, including a Korean residents group of northern Virginia, have launched a preparatory committee aimed at promoting FTA ratification and have vowed to begin a campaign to lobby for the treaty.

The committee also plans to join forces with Korean groups in New York, Los Angeles and other parts of America.
