N.Korean Diplomat Disappears in China

A North Korean diplomat is said to have been missing for a month in Shenyang, China.

The diplomat in charge of economic affairs, only identified by his surname Kim, went missing since mid-October when he left the North’s consulate office to go to a local bank.

The Chinese government and the North Korean consulate are investigating the possibility of Kim’s escape to another country.

Some claimed he was found dead.

Consequently, Pyongyang is expected to summon back many of the officials at its consulate in Shengyang.
