Congressman Urges Revision of Korea-US FTA

U.S. Congressman Sander Levin says the South Korea-U.S. free trade agreement must be revised before it's put up for congressional discussion.

Levin, who chairs the subcommittee on trade under the House Ways and Means Committee, stressed to reporters the principle of equal two-way trade.

He then urged Korea to lift tariffs and regulations on U.S. car and refrigerator imports.

Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee Charles Rangel also said the FTA must be revised or renegotiated due to concerns about provisions on autos and beef.
