British daily Guardian says citizens of 12 countries, including North Korea, are automatically subject to extra screening at American airports.

Citing a leaked document from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the paper said that citizens of 12 countries, including North Korea, Cuba, Iran and Syria, are automatically subject to extra screening at U.S. airports unless they have been specifically cleared.

The paper added that the document leak was a security breach that has led to the Transportation Security Administration's suspending five transport officials while an investigation is carried out.
