The foreign ministers of South Korea, China and Japan are expected to hold bilateral talks on the sidelines of a multilateral forum they will be attending in Tokyo this weekend.

Foreign Minister Yu Myung-hwan is seeking individual talks with his Chinese and Japanese counterparts Yang Jiechi and Katsuya Okada when he attends the fourth Forum for East Asia-Latin America Cooperation on Saturday and Sunday.

If the bilateral talks materialize, the three neighbors are expected to discuss the six-party nuclear dialogue and other mutual diplomatic concerns.
