S.Korean Aid Workers Leave for Haiti

South Korea’s emergency relief team has left for Haiti to assist the Caribbean nation following an earthquake that has wreaked untold damage.

The National Emergency Management Agency said that the team, equipped with rescue dogs and equipment, will help to save survivors and relieve the damage inflicted after the magnitude seven earthquake turned the nation upside down on Wednesday, Korea time.

The 35-member team is comprised of emergency rescue workers, medical staff and members of the Korea International Cooperation Agency.
