S.Korean Rescue Operations Enter 2nd Day

The relief and rescue team South Korea sent to Haiti is working to rescue possible survivors following last week’s magnitude seven earthquake that has ravaged the Caribbean nation’s capital of Port-au-Prince.

The team, which began its mission on Monday, attempted to locate survivors at a university after receiving a tip that 12 people might be alive under debris. Although thus far, the team has found no survivors.
