Exchange Student's Remains Return from Russia

The remains of a Korean exchange student who died after being assaulted in Barnaul, Russia arrived at Incheon International Airport on Wednesday.
The body of the victim, identified as Kang Byeong-gil, was transported to a funeral home in his hometown of Gwangju City.
The bereaved family and some 20 classmates returned with Kang’s remains.
Kang had been studying at a national college of education in Barnaul with his Korean classmates. He was attacked by Russian youths on Monday last week and later died of the injuries he had sustained during the attack.
