Bosworth Looking for Momentum to Resume Nuke Talks

U.S. Special Representative for North Korea Policy Stephen Bosworth says he hopes to regain momentum to restart the six-way nuclear talks.

Bosworth met with China's chief delegate to the six-way talks Wu Dawei in Beijing on Wednesday and said afterwards that all concerned parties agree that it is important to resume the talks as quickly as possible.

Bosworth said that he and Wu discussed various ways to jump-start the dialogue and that the meeting was very useful.

Bosworth arrived in Beijing with U.S. chief delegate to the six-way talks Sung Kim on Wednesday. They will fly to South Korea Thursday for talks with Seoul’s top nuclear envoy Wi Sung-lac.
