Clinton: Global Unity Achieved in Response to NK

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says the U.S. has achieved unprecedented global unity in dealing with North Korean provocations.

Assessing the U.S. achievements in its diplomacy on North Korea, Clinton told a Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Thursday that Washington has also been able to keep its door open for the six-party nuclear talks.

She added that the U.S. successfully led China to join its campaign to impose sanctions against the North when no one believed it was possible, hinting that Beijing may join the U.S., should it push for new sanctions on Iran.
