Korea, Denmark Agree to Boost Partnership in Green Growth

President Lee Myung-bak met with Danish Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen on Thursday in Seoul to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation in green growth and to promote bilateral trade and investment.

Lee said Denmark, a well-known environmentally friendly and highly energy-efficient country, is collaborating more closely with Korea on projects in new and renewable energy and green growth.

Rasmussen emphasized the importance of bilateral cooperation in the areas and anticipated even more collaboration.

Both leaders said the bilateral social security agreement signed by the two nations after the summit would help facilitate economic cooperation.
