S.Korea, US, France, Japan Vie for Poland's Nuclear Power Plant

South Korean, American, French and Japanese companies are reportedly competing to win a project to build Poland's first nuclear power plant.

Quoting a Polish government official, the Associated Press reported that Poland is considering a number of nuclear engineering giants as a partner in building the nation's first nuclear power plant by 2020.

The official reportedly said that Poland is considering bids from Westinghouse and the General Electric of the U.S., Areva of France and companies from Japan and South Korea. A decision is expected in two years.
