An occupation Korean language test, or "OK-TEST," has been officially approved by the Chinese government.

An OK-TEST committee in China said Friday that the test is the 17th international certificate approved by the Chinese government, and the third among foreign language-related certificates after TOEIC and J-TEST.

The OK-TEST, which evaluates Korean language ability, knowledge of Korean corporate culture and occupations, will be useful for Chinese seeking jobs at Korean companies in China.

The test fee is 300 yuan or about 50-thousand won.

The questions will be prepared by the Korean Language and Culuture Education Society, an affiliate of the Education Ministry in Seoul.
