US: NK Nukes Key Issue for NPT Conference

The U.S. says the North Korean nuclear issue will be a key topic at the 2010 Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty (NPT) Review Conference to be held in Washington in May.
U.S. presidential special representative for nuclear nonproliferation Susan Burk made the remark in an interview with the March issue of “Arms Control Today” magazine, which is published by the U.S. Arms Control Association.
Burk said North Korea's violation of and withdrawal from the Nonproliferation Treaty remains a major issue for the conference.
