Fmr. IOC Head Samaranch Dies at 89

Former International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Juan Antonio Samaranch died Wednesday at a Barcelona hospital of a heart problem. He was 89.

Samaranch was admitted to Quirón Hospital in Barcelona on Sunday after experiencing “acute coronary insufficiency.”
