A domestic constructor has donated 63-hundred digital pianos to Thailand to express gratitude for its dispatch of 63-hundred soldiers during the Korean War as this year marks the 60th anniversary of the start of the war.

Booyoung Group Chairman Lee Joong-geun met in Bangkok on Thursday Thailand's Education Minister Chinnaworn Boonyakiat and donated the pianos for academic purposes.

In a ceremony marking the donation, Lee said that he hopes to help young Thai students learn in a better educational environment.

The group has also built elementary schools for free and has donated blackboards and digital pianos in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.
