The U.S. is urging China to join international actions to hold North Korea accountable for the sinking of the South Korean naval vessel “Cheonan.”

State Department spokesman Philip Crowley told a regular news briefing Tuesday that the findings of a probe into the Cheonan incident are evident and that China should accept the results.

He also said North Korea should realize that its provocations will not be tolerated.
