North Korean Foreign Minister Pak Ui-chun has reportedly said that the North will maintain contact with China regarding the resumption of the six-party nuclear talks.

China's Xinhua News says Pak made the remark during talks with his Chinese counterpart, Minister Yang Jiechi, on the sidelines of the ongoing ASEAN Regional Forum in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The news report says the two agreed to expand bilateral economic and trade ties and to fully implement the accords agreed upon between the two nations.

Xinhua says the Chinese minister also held talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and agreed to increase cooperation on the six-way talks.
