Sakong Il, the chairman of the G20 Seoul summit preparatory committee, said Friday that all Koreans must proactively participate in summit preparations in order for the gathering to be a success.

Speaking before elementary school principals, the chairman said that some ten-thousand leaders, aides and reporters are expected to attend the G20 summit on November eleventh and twelfth.

Sakong urged the nation to use the opportunity to exercise global leadership and to improve the political, social and cultural aspects of Korea.
