The Supreme Prosecutors' Office will open on Monday a three-day meeting of high-level prosecutors from South Korea and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to discuss ways to curtail terrorist funding.

The meeting will be jointly hosted by the U.N. Office on Drugs and Crime.

Some 30 top prosecutors from South Korea and ten ASEAN nations will attend the meeting for talks on cooperation to block funding for cross-border crimes and to freeze and confiscate criminal profits.

The Supreme Prosecutors' Office is expected to propose the establishment of an Asia-Pacific convention as a regional judicial assistant agency.
