Russian Media: Lee's Visit to Boost Cooperation

Russian media are reporting that President Lee Myung-bak’s visit to Moscow and Yaroslavl will help boost bilateral cooperation.

The “Novye Izvestiya” daily said Lee will use the Global Policy Forum in Yaroslavl as an opportunity to share his nation’s experiences in modernization.

The report said that Lee will offer new ideas for South Korean firms’ participation in development projects in the Siberian region when he holds summit talks with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.

The top daily “Izvestiya” printed a four-page story about Lee and his visit that also said that the G20 summit in November is expected to be the biggest global event South Korea has ever hosted.
