U.S. President Barack Obama has praised South Korea for its high-speed Internet and wireless mobile services.

During a town hall meeting in Fairfax County, Virginia on Monday, he urged increased investment in U.S. infrastructure, saying that the U.S. no longer has the best airports, rail services or broadband service.

He said South Korea is outperforming the U.S. in terms of broadband and wireless services.

The U.S. president has, in the past, also praised South Korea’s high economic growth rate, education system and human resource management in the science and technology field.
