The U.N. General Assembly says the Group of 20 summit in Seoul was successful.

During the assembly attended by representatives of 192 U.N. member states, U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and leaders in attendance said all areas of the summit were a success.

Ban said the work of the U.N. and the G20 are “mutually reinforcing.” He commended the Seoul gathering for being the first G20 summit to thoroughly address development issues.

The next Group of 20 summit will be held in Paris next year.
