Korean Man Gunned Down in LA Dies

A Korean man in his 50s who was gunned down on his way home from work in Los Angeles early Thursday morning has died.
Local police say the 59-year-old Jong Woon Kim was shot multiple times in the neck in front of his house in a normally quiet neighborhood near Universal Studios in North Hollywood. He was taken to the hospital but died three hours later.
Kim’s father-in-law said Kim owned a liquor store.
Police say they do not know the motive for the shooting.
