Bombing in Russian Airport Leaves 35 Dead, 168 Injured

An explosion at an international airport in Russia has left at least 35 dead and 168 injured.

The explosion, considered to be a terrorist attack, occurred at around 4:30 p.m., local time, at the international section of Domodedovo Airport, outside of Moscow.

Authorities said the explosion was most likely carried out by a suicide bomber, adding that more than one person may have been involved in the blast.

Russia’s Interfax news agency said fragments of the body of the presumed bomber were found at the site of the explosion, adding that the body fragments appeared to belong to a man in his 30s of Arabic descent.
