China Reports on SK-US Military Drills

China's official People's Daily newspaper says South Korea and the United States will stage their annual military exercises based on a number of scenarios. One drill will be based on China's People's Liberation Army entering North Korea in the case of an emergency.

The paper on Tuesday reported that the joint military drills are aimed at preparing for an emergency in North Korea and the Chinese troops' entry into the North.

The two drills refer to the annual military exercises as Key Resolve, set for February 28th through March 10th, and the Foal Eagle, which will run through April 30th.
