S.Korean Short Film Wins Golden Bear at Berlin Film Festival

South Korean film "Night Fishing" has won the Golden Bear award of the International Short Film Jury at the 61st Berlin International Film Festival.

Co-directed by Park Chan-wook and his brother Chan-kyong, the 30-minute short film was entirely shot with iPhone and released in theaters, for the first time in the world.

Director Yang Hyo-joo earned the Silver Bear award in the same category with her film "Broken Night."

Iranian director Asghar Farhadi's "Nader and Simin, A Separation" swept multiple categories, taking the Golden Bear for best film.

Meanwhile, the festival's Jury Grand Prix was awarded to "The Turin Horse" by Hungarian director Béla Tarr, while the Silver Bear for best director went to Germany's Ulrich Köhler for his "Sleeping Sickness."
