200 Dead in Protests in Libya, Seoul Urges S.Koreans to Leave

Antigovernment protests are spreading across the Middle East.

In the Libyan city of Benghazi, witnesses say the situation is nothing less than wartime.

At least 200 are believed to have died in Benghazi alone in the past six days.

Concerns are also rising about the safety of 15-hundred South Korean residents in the North African nation.

Some 400 South Korean construction workers are currently in eastern Libya, where protests there have resulted in bloodshed.

The workers are practically stranded as airports are not properly functioning and land travel is not safe.

The Seoul government has restricted travel to eastern Libya and is advising South Koreans in Libya to leave the country.
