Carter to Visit NK Late April

Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter will reportedly visit North Korea later this month.

Diplomatic sources in Beijing said on Monday that Carter will visit Pyongyang to meet with North Korean senior officials from April 26th through the 28th along with other elder statesmen, including former UN secretary general Kofi Annan and ex-Irish president Mary Robinson.

However, it is not yet known whether they will meet North Korean leader Kim Jong-il or his heir apparent Jong-un during the trip.
