Hillary Clinton to Visit Seoul

Foreign Minister Kim Sung-hwan and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will meet in Seoul on Saturday to discuss bilateral issues.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Cho Byung-jae told reporters Tuesday that the two nations would discuss the pending South Korea-U.S. free trade agreement (FTA), the North Korean nuclear issue, the bilateral strategic alliance, and a collaborative effort to send aid to the Japan in light of its earthquakes.

Clinton will also visit President Lee Myung-bak to exchange opinions on strengthening the South Korea-U.S. alliance.

Clinton will be visiting Korea for the first time since the South Korea-U.S. foreign and defense ministerial talks in July last year.
